Wheelskins Pontiac Solstice Leather Steering Wheel Cover-Wheel Skin

Introducing the colorful EuroTone, 2 color, leather steering wheel cover in the Pontiac Solstice is the most effective way to give your interior a sporty, race appearance.   Ever since the sport coupe and roadster were introduced, people have been customizing their special car's interior.    The steering wheel is always the attention point in the seating area and, for that reason, is one of the first factory designs to get customized.  For many years, a large number of after market parts manufacturers have offered custom steering wheel replacements.  No doubt, a good quality custom steering wheel replacement will enhance your interior.  However, they are usually expensive and require special tools, as well as mechanical skills and experience, to install, unlike Wheelskins.

Many Solstice owners are learning that a leather Wheelskins steering wheel cover is an inexpensive way to modify their roadster's interior.  And, best of all, installation of a leather Wheelskins cover is easy.  Steeringwheelskins.com has a full selection of Wheelskins products.  Wheelskins have a proven record of quality.   They have been hand crafted in the USA since 1977 from the finest domestic leathers.   Wheelskins are always made from the outer layer, or the top and softest cut, of the hide.  Check out our Wheelskins coordinating shift boots and driving gloves that are also made from these great quality leathers.

The Solstice is a small sports car from General Motors. Introduced at the 2004 North American International Auto Show, the Solstice roadster began production in Wilmington, Delaware, starting in mid-2005 for the 2006 model year. The exterior styling of the production Solstice is similar to that of the 2002 Solstice concept that preceded it.

The Solstice was nominated for the North American Car of the Year award and Design of the Year award from the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada for 2006. It has been a runaway hit for Pontiac, with 7,000 orders in the first 10 days of availability and 6,000 more orders before winter.

The GXP version of the Solstice debuted at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January 2006. It is powered by a new 2.0. The engine's output is 260 and. This is the highest specific output of any engine in the history of General Motors at 2.1 hp per cubic inch, and it is the first gasoline direct injection engine from an American automaker. According toGM, the GXP goes 0 to 60 mph in under 5.5 seconds.
